Dr. Sufian Sheikh, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Sufian Sheikh is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the United States who has recently returned to Canada to be closer to family.  He is currently a generalist with practice limited to the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and is actively pursuing board certification here was well.

Dr. Sheikh received his Dental Degree at Case Western Reserve University in 2010 and completed his internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center in 2011. Dr. Sheikh then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at The Ohio State University in July 2015.

Dr. Sheikh then worked at a private practice in Vermont, USA and was an associate professor in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Vermont Medical Center, a Level I trauma centre. He also served as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for the Cleft and Craniofacial Association of Vermont.

Dr. Sheikh has also served in overseas missions which include cleft lip and palate repairs in Ethiopia and then served as a chief resident in the Head and Neck Cancer Division in Dublin, Ireland at the St. James Hospital.
