Endodontists are dental specialists who deal with disease and pathology of the nerve and pulp of the tooth.
Following 4 years of dental school, Endodontists undergo 2-3 additional years of training where they receive instruction in conventional and surgical endodontics, microsurgery, pediatric endodontics, and the treatment of traumatic injuries to teeth.
