The Cambridge office of Coronation Dental Specialty Group was originally located on Coronation Boulevard (hence the name), across from Cambridge Memorial Hospital. In 2007, the practice had the opportunity to move to its current location, in the brand-new Canamera Medical Centre, on Conestoga Boulevard. This location was conveniently located just off Hespeler Road, south of the 401. The office services Cambridge and surrounding areas, but is easily reached from Kitchener, Waterloo, and Guelph.
Building this new office was a time-consuming endeavor, but one that allowed us to continue to expand and improve our facilities for patient care. In addition to seeing patients, the increased size of the office also allows it to function as the administrative hub for our other locations. The office is split between the first floor, which has the reception area, consultation rooms, treatment rooms, and recovery area, and the basement level, which houses the administrative offices, conference room, staff areas, and equipment/storage rooms. The colours of the office were coordinated by a local artist, Paula White Diamond, who also supplied many of the original pieces of artwork throughout. Many of the consultation rooms and public areas also display several antiques related to dental care – the result of Dr. Diamond’s collecting habit. Other rooms exhibit original photographs taken by Dr. Harry Hersh, who has since retired from the practice. |
